TRAINING SESSIONS

We encourage all our athletes to attend training to improve their skills, fitness levels and to foster strong friendships - and also to have fun!  Coaches use a variety of techniques, training drills and fun-based activities to help our athletes be the best that they can be! 

All our volunteer coaches have Working With Children Checks and have undertaken coaching courses run by Little Athletics Victoria. 

 

All children must have a parent/guardian present at all training sessions.  This is a mandatory requirement.

We ask for a gold coin donation at each training session to provide icy poles or fruit to athletes once each training session has finished.

PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Our pre-season training usually commences in August of each year.  Given the current Stage 4 restrictions in place for the State of Victoria, pre-season training has not yet commenced.  

Member and non-members are welcome to attend these pre-season training sessions. 

SUMMER ATHLETICS SEASON TRAINING

During our Athletics Season (which runs from October to March each year) we offer at least two training sessions per week. More information will be provided shortly.

WINTER CROSS COUNTRY SEASON TRAINING

During our Cross Country Season (which runs from April to August each year) we offer at least two training sessions per week.  More information will be provided shortly.
