TRAINING SESSIONS

We encourage all our athletes to attend training to improve their skills, fitness levels and to foster strong friendships - and also to have fun!  Coaches use a variety of techniques, training drills and fun-based activities to help our athletes be the best that they can be! 

All our volunteer coaches have Working With Children Checks and have undertaken coaching courses run by Little Athletics Victoria. 

 

All children must have a parent/guardian present at all training sessions.  This is a mandatory requirement.

Please arrive early to training to allow time to check-in.

We ask for a gold coin donation at each training session to provide icy poles or fruit to athletes once each training session has finished.

SUMMER SEASON - TRAINING

Our Summer Season training will commence at the end of October 2021 (date to be confirmed) on Tuesdays and Thursdays with both sessions starting at 5.30pm to 7pm (subject to COVID Restrictions).  

Training is provided to financial members only.  Training is not offered to trial members.

SUMMER SEASON - PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Unfortunately, our pre-season training was cancelled due to COVID restrictions.  However, our pre-season training usually commences in late August of each year and we offer two weekly sessions.

CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING

During our Winter Season (which runs from May to August each year) we offer two training sessions per week. More information will be provided as we approach the Winter season.
