Little Athletics provides a range of athletic activities including sprinting, hurdles, middle distance running, shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, and triple jump for the Summer season and cross country for the Winter season. We cater for all children from 5 to 16 years old. No matter what your skills or ability, we are all about participation and making sure you can be your best!
Little Athletics is a great way for children to exercise, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends. By participating in the sport of athletics, athletes increase their fitness levels, become more flexible, and develop core strength and balance. Athletics improves motor skills and running techniques. The core skills can be adapted and applied to many other sports - such as football, soccer, basketball, gymnastics and even dance!
Our Summer season runs from October to March and cross country runs from April to August. Little Athletics runs weekly competitions usually on Saturday mornings from 8.15am. Finishing times can vary depending on the program and number of athletes on the day.
