Craigieburn Little Athletics Centre (CLAC) encourages an atmosphere of friendliness where kids compete amongst their own age with the emphasis to beat their own ‘Personal Best’ rather than each other.
Little Athletics is a great way for children aged between 5 and 16 to exercise, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends. Once a child turns five they are eligible to compete. Our summer season runs from October to March and cross country runs from April to August.
Little Athletics provides a range of athletic activities including sprinting, hurdles, middle distance running, shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, and triple jump for the summer season and cross country for the winter. Events are offered in a rotating program format so some events are not offered in all age groups every week. Craigieburn Little Athletics Centre (CLAC) competition usually runs on Saturday morning from 8.30 till 12 noon at Vic Foster Reserve in Pines Way, Craigieburn, finishing time can be earlier depending on numbers.
